Language Lessons
We FINALLY started Portuguese classes. Jason and I are both excited and ready to communicate in Portuguese. It can be very tiring to not understand so much of what is going on, it wears you down.
Exploring the Algarve
We have been so focused on getting settled and doing all of the necessary tasks, I don’t feel like I’ve been able to slow down yet.
Still, we have made an effort to explore the region when we can.
Gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
Moving to a new place is a fun time to see new ways of doing things. Jason and I have moved a lot over our almost 25 years together, but never with a kiddo!
Week Two - Successes and Challenges
When planning this out I knew I didn’t want to just write all the rosy stuff. I want to share the whole experience - the good, the bad and the ugly. Week two was a bit of everything!

Why Portugal?
I suppose the right answer is no real reason, really. Moving was never an impulse decision, we've actually talked about it as long as we'd been in Colorado. However, the hardest part was definitely leaving Colorado and the incredible community of family and friends we built in our time there.
The long answer is either more interesting or more boring, I’m not sure, but so many people have asked I’m doing my best to put it all out here.
